Hotel Europa is a magnificent ancient mansion located in the centre of the medieval town of Ferarra. It has recently been completely renovated and now its 40 bedrooms offer a refined atmosphere for everyone. Moreover, some of them are particularly designed for the disabled. All of the rooms are equipped with modern facilities and some of them have walls with wonderful frescoes on them as well as a sitting room. Hotel Europa offers its guests a meeting room and drawing rooms with more than 800 frescoes and furniture from ancient times. The hotel can be reached by car and it also has a private car park and car boxes which is of great convenience for guests. MINIFLAT ‘PALESTRO’ was built up in 1999 and it is very spacious and equipped with everything that ensures comfort and relaxation. It is particularly suitable for long periods of time but it is possible to use it for a few days as well. ROOM ‘VERDI’ – the name of the room implies that once there lived the great composer. Nowadays, this room remains almost the same because, fortunately, the refurbishment has not erased the whispers of time such as the 19th century furniture and the ancient floor. Other famous guests to the room are Toscanini, Mussolini and Princess Savoia-Aosta. FRESCOES ROOM: there are four such rooms in the hotel and they have beautiful frescoes which attracted many famous people from the past – Edward Prince of Wales, D’Annunzio, R.Strauss, A.Dumas, E.Zola, Luchino Visconti – as well as powerful people of today – politicians, artists and sports men.
